FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Sausalito, CA - Cybereps, a leading online
advertising sales and publishing company, announced today an aggressive
restructuring plan that leads to profitability by the end of 2000.
The 4-year-old Internet company is redesigning its business model
to address current market conditions and focus on the growth of
its vertical content networks. Cybereps enjoys a solid reputation
within the industry as publisher of Future Games Network, FGN.com,
and its women's content network, Totalwoman.com, and by providing
premium individual ad sales and marketing representation to some
of the finest content sites on the Internet.
Mike Warsinske, CEO and co-founder of
Cybereps, said of the restructuring, "We are making some changes
today to position our company for aggressive future growth. Our
restructuring will enable us to better serve our clients and advertisers
and return us to profitability by the end of the year."
Structural changes for Cybereps include
streamlining the sales organization by eliminating a team selling
approach in favor of individual sales territory coverage. "We will
also be adding additional large-scale web sites to our roster,"
adds Warsinske. "With many ad dollars shifting to the low-end of
the market and to broad reach sites, Cybereps will complement its
high CPM offerings with some performance-based properties. At the
same time, we will increase the number of quality technology and
B2B sites that we represent. This is a niche in which Cybereps has
unequalled expertise."
The company, based in Sausalito has offices
in New York and Los Angeles..
Cybereps is the first interactive marketing and integrated media sales and web
publishing company. Formed by the merger of Cybereps and Interep Interactive,
the company specializes in ad sales, marketing, and streaming media sales for
some of the web's best content sites and networks. Cybereps is known for quality,
