FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Sausalito, California, May
1st, 2000
Kimberly-Clark,
Neutrogena and Fingerhut have signed on as charter
sponsors of Totalwoman.com, which launched on April 3rd, 2000. Cybereps,
the nation's premium online advertising and marketing company, developed
Totalwoman.com, a vertical portal network for women, to provide
national advertisers with a powerful new vehicle for reaching women
on the web.
In creating Totalwoman.com,
the editors scanned the web in search of the best content sites
for women. This network of "best of breed" sites now includes 22
affiliate sites delivering 42 million impressions monthly across
the network. According to Crystal Gurin Burgos, Executive
Vice President and co-founder of Cybereps, "Totalwoman.com was
built in response to requests from advertisers for additional high
quality vehicles to reach women. Our goal in building the network
was to search the Internet for the best sites we could find that
spoke to women. Women are too busy to filter through the thousands
of options on the web. We surfed the web to find the sites that
would most interest them. We searched for sites that provided authoritative
editorial or unique perspectives. We tied these sites together around
a high quality editorial portal with the end results being a powerful
aggregate, Totalwoman.com. From a consumer perspective, we've made
finding pertinent information easier. From an advertisers' viewpoint,
we've made it easier to target women on the web."
Kimberly-Clark, Neutrogena
and Fingerhut have forecasted the value of Totalwoman.com
by signing on as charter sponsors. "We are excited by the response
of national advertisers to Totalwoman.com. With over 27 million
women relying on the web for information, advice and entertainment,
the need for additional means of targeting this audience was apparent,"
adds Gurin Burgos "Totalwoman.com is poised to be a powerful media
brand. Our company (Cybereps) is committed to communicating the
value of this new media outlet and will continue to provide superior
research to help media planners and buyers, as well as clients,
understand the Totalwoman.com audience."
